The Ocean Prediction Center recently made a change to their 24, 48, and 96 hr forecast surface charts to remove the 24 hr previous track position for pressure centers. There are a number of reasons why this decision should be reversed. Your input is needed by May 1. You can either:
--go to http://www.opc.ncep.noaa.gov/feedback_tracks.shtml and follow the instructions given or
--Email Tony Siebers at anthony.siebers@noaa.gov

Its all too subjective to form an opinion unless you have a need to use the service. I suggest "clicking on" the website "URL" to review the comprehensive information provided, and then make up your own mind. Lets be happy that one of our "Government Agencies" is at least "seeking input" prior to finalizing any changes!
