Im a new member however I just bought a 22 Seasport and after meeting some of you guys Lopez island I would like to say what a great group u are and would like to become a member[/img]

Since Sea Sport recently acquired C-Dory manufacturing, we are related now, (step-sisters, cousins or in-laws, who knows) just so long as we are enjoying our boats.

A SeaSport would have been my 2nd choice and Osprey my 3rd.

We all have different opinions, some strbd, some wrong, but they are all interesting to read.

Congratulation on your purchase. Like others I had looked at the Sea Sport first and also the Skagit Orca before learning about the 22 Angler.
The economical aspects of the C-Dory helped tip the scale for me and I have learned to slow down in rough seas.
We will be curious to hear more about your boat.
What HP is on the boat?

I have the 5.0l Gi fuel injected with the vilvo duo prop 250hp at the prop. I grew up around seasports my dad has had two of them. They are a great boat especialy here in the Northwest as you know. However it is a heavy boat but does very very well in ruff water. I had a 17 arima then a 2101 seaswirl striper and now the 22 seasport. I love this boat and the wife loves it to. Its a great fishing and cruising boat. I will try to post some pics as soon as I figure out how.
