New Honda 40 and 50 HP EFI Motors

The newer version of Honda's 40 and 50 hp outboards with electronic fuel injection are going to be available in July of this year. They are supposed to offer higher output alternator and offer 20% better fuel economy. Check it out on Honda's website www.hondamarine.com for any of you looking to power or repower a 22' Cruiser with twins.

Uh, on the Honda web site, for the 40 and 50 HP models, the fuel delivery is via venturi. Venturis are in carburetors. Where should I be looking.

Boris, just Google "honda 50 hp EFI" and it should get you to the honda press release. I read it a couple days ago. Sounded really good.

Just click on the web site link and wait a couple seconds and the add will pop up for the new motors from the special financing offer window and you just click on the motor ad to get to the spec's and the product blurb. I wonder if that 6.49 percent financing is going to continue past June 30 on complete boat, motor and trailer packages as long as it has a Honda motor on the boat. That's not bad if you don't have all the moohla for the all the new toys.
