First, my compliments to all who have anything to do with this site. I have to admit I've been spying on y'all (without registering) for several months buildng information on what kind of boat to buy. I finally took the plunge and signed the papers on a 2004 22 Cruiser this afternoon. Now, I'm afraid this winter will seem extra long... It looks like there are quite a few C-dory owners up here in Alaska. I'm sure I'll have a million questions.

AKMarc – let me welcome you aboard.

You have to thank Bill and Mike the administrators for this great site.

You certainly made a good choice in your selection of boats. If you ever get down in the lower 48 in particular the Pacific Northwest, I hope our paths cross.

As for your million questions, there are hundreds of members that can probably answer most of them.

Marc -

Congrats on your boat, good to see another Eagle River boat here.

Have you considered a March c-dory skiing junket? Do you ski out of Whittier?

Congratulations Marc on your new boat. If this is the one that was advertised in Craigslist, I can only say well done. You beat me to it by a day. I have been looking for one just like this for about 6 months. Sounds like a boat that is rigged with everything I want or need. I will just have to keep looking and be a little quicker!

At least another Eagle River resident got it.

Congrats Marc!!! Awesome feeling. :o Just signed the papers on my 2000 CD 16 Angler on 11/24/06 - what a fine Thanksgiving for us! I hear ya about the long winter -- minus 6 degrees outside here in Duluth this morning!! I feel bad for the lil C-Dory (yet un-named) sitting outside under the tarp :(

ps: how do you get that C-Dory up on the mountains skiing with you?? :wink

AK Fisher-- This was the one on Craigslist. I had a feeling it would go quickly, even this time of year. He had it rigged out well enough and priced low enough the bank didn't bat an eye.
Hope you find one before spring.

AKMarc-

Congradulations on the new boat and welcome to the C-Brats!

I don't know which of the boats on Craig'g List you bought, but if you haven't done so, you might post on the ad thread that it's been sold.

Thanks,

Joe.
