We have a couple of new grandparents amongst us.
I'm told that the "Star Wars" crew had a bouncing baby boy- 9 lbs.

I just saw this.... and YES I am thrilled.... Nathan my son and his wife Jamie had a baby boy Monday morning...9 pounds... and very healthy...I diden't think it would affect me like this...But I am totally Thrilled!! our first grandson...
We won't be able to get up to Reno for almost a month....and that's gonna be torture... can't wait to get Andrew on the boat this summer...want to get him going young....

Hi Folks,

Got a new crew member in November. His parents are boaters, and his father is a marine mechanic who is restoring a 32' luhrs. The kid has two beautiful sisters, 7 and 5, and a couple of beautiful cousins, 7 and 4 who also are boaters.

Great being a grandfather.

Good Buddy, Congratulations! I remember the beginning of this process when I met the mother, father, and dog! Now it is mother, father, dog, and Andrew!

... and don't believe a word to the contrary ... babies do GREAT on boats. The engine noise puts them right to sleep, and the rocking boat is a perfect cradle ... EEEHAH, Joel ... another excuse to get out on the boat (not that you need one) -- Congrats!!
 
Belated congrats, Roger! We have no grandchildren - that we know of anyway - but are hopeful. Son Barrett got married last May, and daughter Lydia is engaged and getting married July 26th. I just hope that Austin is not the one who gives us our first grandchild!
