New C-Dory owner

I recently purchased a 2006 C-Dory 22 cruiser and would like to tank you for welcoming me in this group. First question, is it possible to change user name? I did not get very creative on my original signing up since I did not actually own a boat at the time.
Second question, I did not meet the previous owner since one was decease, his wife was moving out of state and use a boat repair shop to handle the sale. Consequently I got very little information on the boat.
I was given a bunch of parts and I’m not sure what some of them are. I’ll try posting a picture in my profile and hope someone can enlighten me on it :P

If you do not have a photo Album, check with Da Nag or TyBoo, who are the administrators (2 and 3 on the member list)...

There are plenty of folks to help with all of your questions!
 
I have my photo album set up. You can find a picture to the part that I cannot figure out where it might fit.

This is the reversible seat back. Since you have a 22, I have to assume it has the "sliding" Barber seat accessory. This allows a seat back if the seat is facing forward. I believe with the seat all of the way forward, you will use the bulkhead as the seat back.

There should be a cushion with a sleeve, which fits over the top of the fiberglass extrusion.
