Well, I'm now the proud owner of Tom Birdnow's 22 cruiser, Midnight Flyer. Just brought her home today. Thanks Tom! First question for all right away. One thing I learned, the c-dory doesn't center on the bunk trailer, anything like my V-hull Searay did on it's bunk trailer. The trailer under Midnight Flyer just has two bunk boards. And they seem to be a little too close together. That is, shouldn't they be positioned so that they are just inside the lowest boat chines, so that the boat can center better? If so, that'll be my first fix/change. Also, would it be better to have two more bunks? Or is just the two fine? (I do a lot of both short and long distance trailering. This is a tandem axle.) And one other thing, I notice the boat actually sits far enough forward on the trailer that about 4-6" of bunk sticks out the back. I plan on moving the boat farther back, so that the end of the bunk is even with the end of the stern. (And of course that means moving the bow stop back and take a little more weight off the tongue, but still keeping about 10% of the weight up there.) Or is that ok to have that much of the trailer bunk hanging out behind the stern? Colby
