Hello,

New here as I am considering purchasing a new 25' C-Dory Cruiser and trailer, with a Honda 150. Dealer asking price here in Alaska is slightly over 100K. Included are ac/dc re-fridge, water heater, shower, shore power, anchor windlass, radar arch, interior carpet runner, macerator, curtains, elec. wipers, wash down, 2 batteries, cockpit hand rails, and interior grab rails. For those with an informed opinion would this be a fair purchase price?

Thanks!

Ken

I haven’t priced new, but that seems about right for a 2018-19 on a trailer.
My 2007 23 Venture on a trailer with air conditioner was about half that....so I guess that’s about right for new with warranty?

Sponsor Three Rivers Marine in Crystal River, Fl. lists prices on their website often linked above here. What you were quoted sounds low for Alaska.

Certainly a very fair price without a trailer (which will cost in the $6,000 or so new. You need at least a 7500 lb load carrying capacity, which comes in close to 9,000 # including trailer. There are smaller and cheaper trailers, but I would advise against them.

The electronics, are going to be in the $3,000 range, plus installation. Taxes, registration and maybe dealer prep added in. I just bought a used 25, and will be putting in North of $5,000 to upgrade, not including my labor at $.03 an hour.

That is a very reasonable price a 23 venture with similar configuration is ~90k or so here. I think my local dealer sold a 25 with a 200 here for around 115 or so.

Thank you all for your input! I can't seem to get a fair purchase price from NADA guides as they state that C-Dory went out of business in 2009. Does anyone have an idea who the manufacturer listing might be?

NADA never has the realistic C Dory price. Also there is no way to totally factor in all of the improvements...Also outboards are generally separate.

NorthWest Marine Industries is the current builder.
