New 25 built WA dealer

We are seriously thinking about having a new 25 built and it would have to be through a dealer in Washington since there are no dealers for C-dory in Alaska. So of the two dealers in Washington, Waypoint in Seattle and Master Marine of Mount Vernon who would the C-brats recommend? We look forward to visiting the Factory and customizing our build and want a dealer who will work with us through this process without hassle.

I was in Auke Bay last week docked next to the owner of Panhandle Powerboats. He said he is the C-Dory dealer in SE Alaska and as been selling C-Dorys since 2007 or 08, so you may want to contact them.

If you check, the factory might work directly with you. I am not a fan of master marine but I have heard that some others have had good experiences there.

Panhandle Poer Boats has the C Dory Logo on his web site and claims to be a C Dory dealer. But Anchorage is a long way from Juneau--and certainly not local service. On the other hand, if we don't patronize the dealers, they will disappear.

I would get in writing what you want customized, and ask for photos at various stages. My experience --several owners of C Dory ago--when ordering customization was that most of it was not done. But this is a different builder.

Problem with Juneau is it's a long ways from the factory. I've contacted Triton and was told I need to work through a dealer but was welcome to visit. My hopes are to start the process with a dealer after I've had a chance to talk with the factory guys and gain some insight of what mods are available. Anyone have dealings with Waypoint Marine?

The 22ft Triple J has been sold. Still thinking new for now, wait time my play into my decision whether to go new or used. There is a nice used 25 in the Seattle area but needs inspection or a round trip airline ticket for me. The quest continues….

Portland is not too far beyond Washington and Sportcraft is a very active dealer. I was by their place on Friday, they had a brand new Venture 23 on the floor, had sold a new boat the week before and Larry was picking up a new 22 at the factory. So they should know the many options available. I've heard a lot of people say they are very easy to work with.

I talked with Ryan today, sent me pricing sheet on new 25; about what I thought. The 07 25 in seattle area is looking a lot better. Just need to find someone to go over and check it out for me. I would like to get a little more boating in before summer ends.

Sailing is a good pastime. Aside from boat dealership, anybody knows other dealerships? The worth of a Nissan is actually really great if you consider it does not cost a lot to get a very powerful engine. That is why I started my internet search looking for a new Nissan. I wound up finding a great car dealership through a website I came across. The site has a ton of new cars to look at.

(I beat Charlie to this one!)

I would not deal with Master Marine. I tried dealing with them on a 25 and found the experience unsatisfactory. I personally would not do business with them.

I personally have not had any problems with Master Marine.

Ben in sales is a good contact. When I was looking to buy a boat he was great to deal with.
