Need help with a price

A friend of mines husband passed away and is asking me to sell their boat. Its a 1991 16' Angler with galvanized trailer. Has an '02 Honda 40 or 50 (can't remember which) and an '02 Honda 8 hp kicker. Great condition, very low hours on the motors. Comes with some fishing stuff and manual downriggers as well as inexpensive GPS/fishfinder/VHF. Kept outside but always covered when not in use. I have no idea at this point what this boat is worth so any ballpark suggestions would be appreciated. I'll post pics and advertise on here once a price is decided on. Located in Norcal.

Do you want a fast sale, or a good price?

Listed at ~$8500, it would move pretty quickly - assuming as described. If you're not in a hurry, tack another $1,500 or so on top of it.

Of course, red ones fetch a premium.
 
We sold a super clean 1988 16 Angler for $8500. It had the original 40 Johnson and 6 horse Johnson Kicker. It needed some minor work, whihc brought the buyers investment up to about $10,000.

SItting next to the 2010 we had for a customer, the boats looked almost identical. The 1988 had under 200 hours on it, and had been stored under cover since new.

So my guess on the 1991 with newer four stroke power would be between $10,000 and $12,000.

Pricing under $10,000 should generate a fairly quick sale.
 
I think what you mean is that the hulls were identical. The 88 had the old style interior, older style helm, teak instead of stainless handholds or roof rails and no pulpit. Also the windows on the older models where plain aluminum.
