Neat things I have stolen from other C-Brats

I just served up a big chunk of lemon meringue pie for my lunch tomorrow. It's a real tall piece. It just fits in that nifty plastic food container that Jamie swiped from Journey On in Bellingham. She really like the spaghetti that was in it at the dock, but I don't think she meant to steal it. Oh well - it sure works good for the pie. Thanks Judy! We'll bring it with us on the next trip and attempt to return it.

And by the way - I have swiped a couple nifty things from Catman over the years, and a whole bunch from B~C. That's not what we're here to talk about, though.

Mike-

If I understand this right, we're talking about Project Ideas Stolen from Other C-Braqts, right?

If so, I found your Rod and Reel Cover a very valuable idea in preserving my fishing equipment when moored at the marina (although I've never really had anythng stolen):

The removable cover lifts out on the hinge pins, and has an internal lock release. It's made of the "plastic wood" sold at Home Depot in the PNW.

I wasn't able to fully copy it with the inability to procure the "plastic wood" (plastic facia boards) from Home Depot down here where they're not sold, apparently because it's not quite so moldy as the PNW, but I fabricated one out of two plastic milk cartons cut down and joined together, and used a system of eyelets, a rod, and a padlock to lock it down. Works fine anyway! The idea was great, as was your initial fabrication. Thanks!

No, Joe, we have appropriate places to post adaptations of ideas for the boat. This thread is meant to be totally useless other than my finally thanking Boris and Judy for not sending the cops after Jamie for absconding with the plastic deal. It is also a means to ensure that I stay at number one while you and Pat try harder for number two.

Well, on second thought - there probably aren't too many genuine thieves on here, so maybe your directional vision is a good use for this topic.

Thanks for the compliment!

Furthermore, Joe, I believe the reason you cannot find the plastic wood down there is due to the fact that CA bans the use of products from old-growth plastic trees.

Mike-

" It is also a means to ensure that I stay at number one while you and Pat try harder for number two"

If, at any time, you or any other large number of C-Brats feel that our "Contest for Number 2 Poster" is getting out of line and interferring with the normal business around here, let me know. I could do with a little less than 6 hours on the C-Brat site daily anyway, and could use the time on my C-Dory and Sea Ray.

But it is fun, in the meantime, and I promise to reform after the SBS/CBC!

At this point I would find it hard not to give anyone stealing anything from my boat lead poisoning,(inserted by 44 cal. ) sorry to have to resort to such harsh reaction but after the hammerhead im just a little bitter.

well maybe I could let it slide if I could get a piece of that pie :wink

Great Topic Tyboo! Confessions...

I think over the years I too have some absconded items from fellow Brats. Let's see-

*Many photos from the the R-Matey's... And a warm bed...
*Some books from Catman... I think I gave them back tho.
*A potholder from Robbie... I still have this, but she knows it!
*Loves from Dusty... We won't go into that here
*Treats from Roger n Lizbeth... All eaten
*Lots of items from the Anita Marie's, including tong things that Robbin bought me
*"Gloves" from Dave S.'s crew and a laugh or ten...
*And I fell in Love with Jamie and Tiffany...
*Immacunada Crew for rides and accomodations..
*Last and certainly not least, the DaNags for much more than they'll ever know... Way to numerous to list and I've forgotten most of em...
*And, I forgot to list my Jon; for all the fishing adventures, and keeping bait on my hook...

What have I stole from the C-Brats? A modified version of the C-Brats logo for my C-Brats Cards and the same modified version for a web site I am working on that I will probably never finish.
