Mystery C-Dory

Hi,
We visited the Kentucky Dam Marina near Paducah, KY, today, January 18, and we saw a C-Dory tied up next to a larger boat at the end of a covered pier. Who are you?
We live in Paducah and have a 22' Cruiser. We would like to meet you.
Cheers,
Marge&Tom

Hi Marge and Tom -

Welcome to the group. Make yourselves at home and let us know if we can help with anything. If you have pictures you would like to share, we can even fix you up with a Pelican photo album.

I have never been to Paducah, so I can't help with your question, but in looking at the interests you listed in your Profile, it is clear that we - especially my wife - would like to meet you, too!

Hi Marge and Tom --
Sure hope the folks at Kentucky Dam Marina are careful on the slippery boat ramp -- or you might have some more C-Dory company for a few months this winter, also.
Good to hear from you and hope you meet the folks on the dock. We are figuring on a run down the Arkansas River next October -- you up for that trip, again? This time we'll try to keep all of us upright. We're ready for some more cruising with you two.
Been doing any cruising lately? Pat Byrd has a TomCat now, and plans to keep it on Lake Martin, as you might have heard. Our best to you --

At 1200 HRS today, I saw a 22' Cruiser on Lake Stevens (in Wa. State). It was in the distance, so not much info to identify it other than a single large Honda (possibly with a kicker), had a radar and radar arch appeared to be lighter colored.
Was it a C-Brat?

dave that was me and my father in law in the susan e. we were going after halibut but after reading the weather report decided on a little trout fishing instead. we got skunked, rained on, hailed on, and blown around quit a bit. I know that large trout have been planted on the lake this winter and was trying to figure out how to get them. Iam good at trout trolling but with a new lake its hard to figure out.

Tom,
Thanks for solving the "mystery" for me. We were in the Medic Unit driving back to one of our other stations. You folks were at the NW corner of the lake, near where Bayliner "sea test" their boats. Since Bayliner erected a fence there, there was no good place for me to get to flag you down. When I mentioned to several other guys about seeing you on the lake, they said that they saw you launching in the rain.
