Moving the Grand Banks

I helped my buddy move his 32 Grand Banks up the ICW for 8 days. Northern Florida (saw a Space Shuttle launch) to North Carolina. Pretty mellow way to travel and the Flying Bridge was great for the calm waterways. It's incredibly roomy compared to a C-Dory. You can keep all that darn teak though and we did spend a fair amount of time avoiding running aground.

If we move to a bigger boat that one would be on my list.

Congratulations.

Well I just moved all of the stuff from the TC24 onto the GB. Wow, what a difference in space! The lazarette is only about 1/3 full, maybe less. I still have unused drawers in the salon, space under the seats, six more drawers in the v-berth, a hanging closet, and other assorted cubby holes that are empty. Then there is the space under the seats in the flybridge. This is dangerous! I'm thinking of all the things that could fill this space. All of the things that Penny could buy to fill the space. Why didn't I think of this obvious problem?! Nature abhors a vacuum. Maybe I should stuff some old towels int the unused spaces and tell Penny that everything fit in nicely with one drawer to spare.
