Pete, those bikes are from the early 70's. and they were great bikes. I had 2 ea 360 MX's, a 73 and a 74. Actually the 73 was great, the 74 was a dog, unless you put the 73 cylinder on.
Collecting them or just happen to have them? and why 40 years without a lift?
I've had Ole Faithful(the '78 DT400E on the right) for 30 years. Last of the street-legal big-bore 2-strokes. EPA regs. :amgry
I ride it from my home up to the hills.
Jones Creek ATV Park is just 1/2 hour away.
It still turns the heads of Yamaha Enduro fans...and gasps of horror from the "environmentally conscious":monty
Picture delightful clouds of blue smoke and the aroma of castor beans.
I picked up the '75 DT400B(on the lift) a few years ago because it's so pristine and I couldn't resist. It's too nice to take off-road so I'll probably sell it.
The other '78(on the left) I picked up as a parts bike for just $300.
It has a strong motor that's going into "Ole Faithful".
The blue bike(in back) is an '84 IT490. Deep woods screamer and hillclimbing monster. :disgust Off-Road Only ???
