The 16 c-dory is an angler model I wonder what it will end upbeing sold for?

Considering the 2006, 4 stroke, 90 H/P Honda the 1989 Cape Craft C-Dory seems to be a great price.

Am I missing something here or is this about right for this boat/motor combination?

Regards,

Ron Fisher

The 16 almost looks like it was re-painted. No reg numbers, inside cockpit blu.

Didn't look at the 16 but my gut feel is that at 21,000 the price is too high.

Single axle trailer old, very old boat, no kicker, electronics will likely need replacing. Updating/refurbishing a boat of this age is usually very expensive.

I would easily sink 10,000 into this boat electronics, kicker, radar arch, radar, and fixing all the stuff that doesn't work or stops working shortly after purchase. Now at 31,000 for an 89 would rather buy new.

Thats just me...

I am not sure what "Cape Craft" means--this is a regular C Dory, post 1987. It has the SS hand rails--my 90's C Dory 22 had the Teak hand rails The newer (2006) outboard is a real plus. Yes you would have to put in new electronics, but basics for a thousand or less. Arch is not necessary, unless you want that for some specific reason. As long as the trailer does not have rust, the bearings and tire replacement are not expensive. I think at $21,000, it is well priced (considering the engine).
