A number of years ago, we replaced our cabin door window with one that opens. Ah, but what to do with the one we took out? It languished in the MOOSE barn for quite a while before the solution came to me. We gave it to our island-owner friends on NW Lake Superior who installed it in their outhouse door! The door itself has a story as it was reclaimed from a retired lake freighter, so the maritime effect is complete. Now, some might argue the need for an opening window in an outhouse as well, but at least you can see what you are doing now.
