mixing business & pleasure

Hope I don't offend anybody by mixing a little business with pleasure. We have started a whale watching/ marine eco-tourism business in the San Juan Islands on "Soulmate" our 2006 c-dory 25. <commercial link removed by Da Nag> Believe me I've had a lot worse jobs.

Susan and I have talked about doing the same thing in the future, when james is out of school. We were going to finance the tomcat as a buisness and run tours or fishing trips, kayaka shuttles, etc. I hope yuo do well and we will look you up when in the islands. Would love to talk to you about the permit end of the buisness.
 
I think the liability would scare me from using my boat for any sort of business... with everyone so crazy today I think it would be safer to use the boat to fish commercially...or smuggle aliens.
 
"smuggle aliens." how many e.t.'s will fit in a c-dory. Iam sure you can get insurance for a whale watching boat. Thier are a lot of people doing it and their all not risking losing the farm.
