Hi folks,
I saw a post on Tugnuts for an interesting endoscope. The writer there is using one to check out bottom paint condition, zincs etc because like many of us who keep the boat in the water year round pulling out for inspection or hiring a diver is expensive. The unit seems quite cheap. He provided this link and I have ordered one. Full disclosure I have no personal experience with the unit.

It occurred to me the when we owned the Venture 23 this would perhaps have been a tool for threading into the hole down by the bilge pump by the water tank and checking for water under the cockpit deck without cutting out an inspection hatch. I'm thinking that it may be useful to check out all sorts of hard to reach places. I'll report back when I have used it.
