Marina Needed Baltimore Annapolis Area

Good evening fellow C-brats! We have owned our 25 Cruiser Dragonfly for 5 months now and have enjoyed exploring the Hampton Roads, VA area. We were able to participate in one C-brat outing -James River- which was a lot of fun. Met some great people and were looking fwd to the next outing.
Now, due to a job change, we are in Columbia, Maryland. So we are looking for a nice marina to spend our summer weekends. A nice modern place with a pool and restaurant would be best. And it should be 30 min or less from Columbia.
Any recommendations ! I know there are loads of great boating destinations and we are excited! But first we need a home base.

We liked Henderson Wharf Marina 1000 Fell street Baltimore, Md. Phone 1-410-1049 Fells Points point has a lot going on. A grocery stories not to far away. Also launch ramp is nice and close. You can easily walk to Little Italy or the Inner Harbor. If you do go to little Italy try Ciao Bella great dinner spot. Annapolis and he Severn river close by. Welcome to MD, we used to live in Clarksville and recently moved to Annapolis. Our local marina on the South River is an easy 40 minute drive from Columbia.

Our boat is on a trailer, and after checking around we decided to base the boat at Pier 7. Their slip rates are competitive with nearby marinas and as a bonus, they will allow you pay month to month. In addition, they offer in-yard trailer parking with free ramp use for $150 a month, so you have all the flexibility you need without signing up for an annual contract. I would recommend starting here as I did, and then you can keep looking around for another spot as well, if you like.

They have a good restaurant and new bath house attached. Fuel is available just across the river at Oak Grove Marina.

You may want to consider Port Annapolis on Back Creek in Annapolis. Very modern amenities including a pool, snack bar, laundry, etc. It also has a full service yard and supply store, and you're permitted to work on your boat yourself.There's also room to store your trailer. Close to major grocery and drug stores, West Marine and restaurants. Check it out: www.portannapolis.com
You'll be about 30-40 minutes from Columbia.
 
I just had some boat and trailer mods done at Port Annapolis, which were excellent. I agree that it's a great marina as well!

Hi everyone
UPDATE: we decided to take a lift slip at White Rocks on Rock Creek. We do not have a trailer and would prefer not to bottom paint. So, a lift is ideal.
