Hi,
While having lunch in Duck cove Isle De Haute we were rafted up seven wide. A sail boat pulls into the mouth of he cove and drops his hook. A while later a dinghy comes scooting over. A scotsmans was asking questions about were we were and wondered about the tides and depth etc. We handed him a guide book and a chart. After a while a nice conversation started and we learned he had sailed from Scotland to Trinidad and up the east coast. I asked him how he had been treated by the Americans he replied you can be proud of you country. People had lent him cars taken them to get supplies, etc.we felt wonderful. We gave him a couple cameras to take pictures of our portable ghetto which he cheerfully did. I guess someone will post them later on the Maine Cruise album. He said if you wanted to check out his blog the site is called
