George, I haven't been here as often as I would like to lately, so this appears way overdue. As has been said, life is fragile, burdens can be heavy, and hearts are tender. What times we have together are precious beyond price, for memories can sustain us even as we move into the future. The loss of a life mate is near the most unbearable experience a person can live through. For you, my friend, there is hope, and there is peace ahead. Time on the water and time among friends can soothe an aching soul like nothing else can. You have the means to get out onto the water, and it sounds like you have the heart for it. You have many friends here, and I for one would be honored to share a raft, a dock and a beverage, while talking of plans for the future, and honoring the past.
I can hear it on the VHF now,
"Madi's Bunk ...........Madi's Bunk..............Madi's Bunk (or C-Brat...C-Brat...C-Brat) SleepyC....SleepyC on 68 (C-Brat channel) Got time for visit? Come on over."
My most sincere condolences, and know that you are in our prayers for comfort and peace and direction. Enjoy that "Walkabout"
