Lunar Eclipse

I was teaching Physics at the time (8-9 in the morning), so my experience was a bit more restrained ! :disgust
Joe. :thup

Like you Joe, I was working that morning in '78 and I was STILL WORKING during this eclipse a couple of nights ago. Quite frankly, I hope I'm NOT WORKING during the next eclipse.... .

In '78, I remember the street lights coming on, as the eclipse darkened the morning light......certainly a much more impressive event than this one, since it occurred during the day.

Although, I expected our "EMS call volume" to escalate at the time of these events, that never did occur on either occasion.

Hey Joe, I think we've got a wise a.. punk kid amongst us.....LOL...

But since he packs and is a decent guy, we should probably just tolerate him.

Dave-

I think you're right!

Actually, I started teaching in 1966 when I was 24, and some of my students were 18 year old seniors, who are now 62, so nobody ever escapes getting older themselves, eventually, unless they expire early themselves, so the last laugh at agedness will come sooner or later to rest on all of us, we just take our turn as time rolls by! His time will come, too!

Joe. :thup

Just having fun, gentlemen. I can assure you, getting older sucks, but it sure beats the alternative. Yesterday a young kid @ work (~25 yrs old) described the guy I had just arrested as an "old guy"; the crumb was born in '66. So it flows downhill...even towards me. :x
