Loss of C-Brat

Larry Barrett (Quillback) was killed yesterday in the line of duty as a Fisheries Biologist for the ID F&G. Although I never met Larry, he contacted me when we were shopping for a C-Dory. In true C-Brat fashion, he was excited to share his excitement about the adventure of boating. I know a couple ID F&G professionals who were close to Larry. They are a tight family who will be heavily impacted by his loss. He was obviously passionate about his work. My prayers are with his wife, family and the ID Fish and Game Family.

That just sucks! Live life like tomorrow is your last because (as my 10 year old son always says) “you just never know Dad”.

Our hearts go out to his family and friends.

Prayers for the families of both. And if you didn't click on the other pictures with that story, You need to. The photo of Larry with that sturgon is stunning.

My condolences to his family and friends. I met Larry for the first time just a few weeks ago at Neah Bay. He was camped just across from us and we had a few conversations about the local area and fishing. It was obvious he was passionate about fishing and boating. Very tragic.
