Well, I just got off the phone with the party who came up from Oregon to see the boat on Friday and although no money has been exchanged yet, it looks as if the boat has sold.

While I will be sorry to see her go, I have been assured that she will be given a good home.

If all goes well, you should expect a final post indicating that the ad for our boat can be placed in the archives...

Despite our need to sell, the experience of owning her has truly been a joy as she has always left me with a smile. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to fulfill one of those life long dreams.

If I understand correctly, the soon to be proud owner does not have internet access -- but his fishing buddy does. And they do know about this site. That's where they found my ad. And since these two drove from central Oregon during Thursday and Friday's weather, I would imagine that they have spent more than a few hours on this site. I would also imagine that you will hear from one of them once the deal is done.

I'm glad to see this coming together for you, and as we discussed, I'm happy that the trailer digression didn't interfere with the original intent of the thread.

My only regret is that the guy from Oregon driving up to get the boat isn't me! (I think I'm beginning to see the finances heading in the right direction, though.)

I have posted some pictures of Little Catelyn in my photo album that were taken yesterday. I was sure excited to see photos of our boat when it was under construction. And as the new owner from out of state is waiting on a new trailer, I thought that these photos might tide him over until he can take delivery.

I can say that John is really excited about the boat and I hope to get him online before too long so he can connect with the group
