Looking to see a C-Dory 22 Cruiser

Hello!

I'm thinking of buying a C-Dory 22 cruiser.

I'm a sailor but I'm looking for a boat that will allow me to explore the amazing waters and islands of Washington and British Columbia a lot faster than a sailboat will.. plus most of the year it's cold or coldish here and the pilot house/cabin of the C-Dory's looks perfect.

I was wondering if someone would be willing to show me and the wife their boat, perhaps even go for a ride? I've never been aboard these boats yet.

Anyone in Point Roberts or the vicinity of Bellingham?

Not far from Bellingham is LaConner... and there will be a C-Dory gathering at LaConner later this month (7/26-7/28). Stop by during that time, and you will see LOTS of C-Dory 22s, get to visit with their owners, and I have no doubt, snag a ride or 12.

Plenty of former sailors here. Once you discover the pleasure of an enclosed helm, it is hard to consider going back to being out in the elements on the water.

I have digger's old boat 8)

I will be spending a lot of time this month between Tacoma and Everett chasing salmon and crab. If you end up a little further south one weekend let me know and I'd be happy to take you out. :thup

The La Conner meet will have a lot of great eye opening options and customizations to see I am sure :wink:

Private message sent back to Rick & Shirley. I might be able to make it over there tomorrow.. maybe? Depends on my neighbor with a boat; he says it's far.

I'll certainly come to La Connor at the end of July.. maybe I'll already have a C-Dory by then? lol who knows? Where will I see them?

Hey. If you happen to make it to the Island this summer we would gladly take you out for a cruise. Just let us know a few days in advance.
