Looking to buy a 16' angler

Hi! I'm new here but have always admired the C-Brats and now is my chance to own one!! I'm pretty excited. The one I'm looking at is a '91 and has a good 40 Honda (not a 4-stroke) and looks to be in great shape. Comes with a few extras but not many. Price is $7500 Can. Does that sound reasonable? Any info for a new buyer would help. What kind of questions should I be asking the seller? Thanks for bearing with me........... Also, where can I purchase CD stuff? :lips

The one on E-Bay is in Fla, you're in BC. That boat has a 50 4 stroke and is newer but the bid is at $7500 now and the reserve is not met.

$7500 sounds like a good price, hopefully you can sea trial it and see how it runs. You can always repower it later.

BTW, you cannot "own a C-Brat"..we are not for sale, although you could rent some of us!!

CD stuff is boat stuff, for sale all over. If you mean hats/shirts, not sure where a current source is, you might search on "logo" and see what comes up!

A '91 is kinda old but if it's in good solid shape, probably worth it.

Welcome - hope that boat works out for you.

Others here are better informed, but I'm pretty sure I've read Honda never made anything but 4-stroke outboards.

Anyone?

Pee Wee's right. (Not left). If it's a Honda, It's a 4-stroke. And if the engine has some life left in it and the boat hasn't been beaten to bits, I'd say it just might be a keeper.
