Good morning All.

I am looking for information and pictures on the replacement of the Aft cabin bulkhead on Classic Angler model.

The original bulkhead has started to develope some dry rot after 28 years and I feel that replacement is the best solution to the Problem.

I attempted to find any info by using the site search engine to no avail.

Any and all help and pictures would help me line out this project.

What Material was the origial bulkhead made out of and where can I buy some?

Thank you Doug :beer :beer

Hi Doug,

Long time no see! I'll touch base with Les Jr. -- we just replaced the bulkhead in our old 84 Classic. Les did the work, I supervised.

I'll relay from Les or get him to contact you... the replacement was pretty spendy for this old guy (+/- 500 bucks), but it looks great. If you'd like photos, can do.

Doug,

Les sez very straightforward. Remove bolts, break sealant, and remove the bulkhead. Use the old bulkhead as pattern for new one. He used teak-faced marine plywood -- same thickness as the old one. Photo no help -- just a picture of the new bulkhead. HTH,
