Looking for advice/suggestions

The Airdock looks interesting. I've been thinking of mooring Adeline at a marina(public) and was contemplating bottom paint and/or an epoxy barrier coat.
I wonder if I could go with an Airdock INSTEAD.
Is it(and it's blower) suitable for a public marina or is it's portability just going to make it easier for thieves to make off with it ?
 
In basic sense, whether or not it's suitable would probably be up to the marina management and what they would allow in terms of a semi-permanent installation. You have to drill some holes to mount the blower, but other than that it's just tied off.
As for theft, I know these days anything is possible, but it's actually a pretty bulky, heavy, awkward thing to get in and out of the water. (Which is why I'd rather wade in to do maintenance.) Maybe the best way to steal it would be to cut it loose and tow it, but I don't think it would allow a very fast getaway.
Mine is at a friend's dock, but there is one (or used to be) at Deception Pass Marina. I may be confused, but I think it belongs to Les Lampman, who checks in here every now and then.

EDIT - I did a site search, and it's Dusty that owns one. I bought mine used from his son-in-law.
 
Thanks Dave S, I agree with Adeline. Looks interesting indeed. I was not aware of that product, or anything like it, until you enlightened me.
