Rick from the C-Dory Factory delivered the Linnea to Twin Bridges Saturday morning. She touched the water about 11am. Just before we put her in we met and had a chance to talk with Starcrafttom and his family for a few minutes. What a great boat, green with a single Suzuki 90. A lot of you had a chance to be on her since she was at the Seattle Boat Show.
We put about 2 hours on her on Saturday. At the end of the two hours Rick had told us to take her all the way up to top end for 30 seconds to check the prop- she hit 5700rpm. Great hole shot for having 5 people on board and a thrill after staying under 2000rpm for the first 2 hours.
Sunday we put another two hours on her running up to LaConnor for lunch. At the end of the 4 hours we got go to a maximum of 4000rpm and remain on plane, this time with four on board.
This week end its across Rosario to Center Island and maybe get some of the 10 hours we need for complete break-in of the motor, Rick says we can hit 5000rpm now.
Thanks to Rick, Jeff, Scott and all the rest of the nice folks we met at the C-Dory Factory.
