Amazing what our little boats will do.
Donna was working but I had today off, so I launched the boat by myself to put her in a slip at John Wanye Marina. Since we always boat together, Donna and I each have our respective launch duties. After backing down into the water and floating the boat, I got out and tried to push the boat off the trailer like usual. That's when I noticed the boat AND the rear of the trailer both moving away from the dock. Holy crap! The damn transom tie-downs were still attached. Uhh, that's Donna's job. Boy, I must have looked like quite the idiot...
Thankfully, no one was around to see my stupidity. Never done THAT one before...oh, well, at least I managed to put it in a slip without banging up anything.
