I recently completed a small project to permenantly mount a small LCD TV, external Shakespeare amplified antenna and digital converter box so that we can watch COLLEGE FOOTBALL while cruising.

Here is a link to the components for anyone interested:

The LCD TV stows with the face down on a rubber mat for shock protection and deploys quickly. An amplified external antenna, and digital converter box is integrated with the TV.

I was looking for a ceiling mount DVD/T.V. with a digital tuner yesterday and didn't find one . This looks better . Thanks !

Larry,
I removed the basic mount that came with the TV and found this mount which was made to be used as an under shelf mount. I cut out a piece of poplar to match the shape of the mount and glued it to the TV with Gorilla glue so that the screws did not penetrate the TV chasis. I did not want to mount anything overhead that was not really locked down so I chose to mount it on the console which I only use for a binoc / drink holder.

I will get back to you with the exact details on the mount and the TV. I do recall that the TV is made by Axion and it runs directly from 12VDC.

Larry H,

TV MOUNT: The flip down mount is made by premier and costs about $25. This is a very sturdy mount that can be tightened to hold the TV in any position. Here is a link: http://www.itequip.com/shopitem.asp?sea ... M003953019

LCD TV: Axion 16-3350. I bought this small TV at Radio Shack about 2 years ago. It has a compact flash card reader that I can use to display photos. It operates directly off 12V and is either 8.5 or 10 inches. This may be too small for some but works fine for us.

Hope this helps.
