Wow ! I just got home from the UPS store.... and got chill shock...to send a set of hatches to Alaska.....was $55.....YEOW !! NO WAY !! i understand inflation...but ...

I am going straight to the post office....it takes me more time...because I have to fill out all those darn customs papers... but the price is about half... so everything is going UP post office... may take longer...hope this is alright with everyone...

Thanks

I am the current holder of the extra pair of hatches that Joel talks of. Please pm me if you want them. I am just east of Seattle.

hi folks getting prepped to put my new hatches in and there will be a thin bead of leftover silicone residue from the factory I don't want to scrape off but would like to vaporize with solvent. Anyone find a good silicone remover that isn't too toxic? Paint thinner, mineral spirits etc?

Thanks George

I just used a razor blade and it removed that remaining silicone really easily....what remained I rubbed with my hand and it rolled off ...I don
t think you need solvent at all.... but if you must...WD-40 will get under silicone sealant and it comes off with just rubbing...

Wait a minute! I've got an extra set too, in Seattle.

Tim

My extra set is NOW spoken for. The check I am arranging to be sent to Joel. So now, I believe Tim Flanagan holds the last pair.

Thanks Guys.... Yes I knew Tim had a set...you guys have been great... and I appreciate it....

I have a new secret project...with the Chinese...that I will tell you all about ...and hopefully you will love it...cause it is really, really neat..if it works out..and I think it will........ I will have something kool to sell next.... Also I talked to Sea Sport and they have given me limited permission to use the trade mark C-Dory...so I can develop our Ships Store....

*note to Tyboo.... Susan just laughed when I told her about it...guess that means she approves it...
