anyone know of any ranger tugs showing at the lauderdale show this year? i searched the show management site, and nothing came up yesterday. i'm making my annual trip down, and would like to check out some more 21ec's in person.

EVILSKIER: Looks like you are going to enjoy a nice road trip! Hey, take a look at the Ranger Tug Factory site. It list their dealerships and it looks as if with your 1600 mile road trip, you will going past, or reasonably close past some of them....and you should be able to have the advantage of actually getting sea trial. Boat shows often do not have that option available at a boat show. ....and that is where you will also find the true feel and actions of the boat. Most any boat can look and feel goon on a concrete floor with bright lights... get on the water.

Also, I think the factory site may have an "events" or "boat show" link too. It has been a while since I have been on their site for any time.

Good Luck in your search.

i saw the show link on the ranger site and it doesn't list anything. however, a random dealer may have one down there. a road trip would be fun, but i'm flying down.... thanks for the suggestion!

I know for a fact that there will be a display of Rangers both 21 & 25 at the upcoming Annapolis Boat Show. The great folks at Gratitude Yachting will have the boats there for display.

There are two of us in Fl . If you would like to visit us in the Eastpoint/Apalachicola area, we would be happy to put our R 21 in the water . We dont do the Ft Lauderdale show , as it seems to be focused on the bigger boats [ and a little more silicone and gold chains than we are accustomed to ] . I don't think Tom from the Punta Gorda Ranger dealer will be there either . We both have 21 s in stock though.

Thanks Mark for the encouragement...I have never been to the Lauderdale show but now I know they have silcone...I will geather up all my gold chains and see if I can do some "bartering".

Mike . I think you can make a good showing in Ft. Lauderdale, I think you might swap the motors on the Papillon to big triples , Get a gold trim package for the boat and tow vehicle [to match the neck, wrist, and ankle chains] , Get some serious tannin booth time in followed by a trip to the cosmetic surgeon and heavily work the Grecian Formula . Hire a really expensive dog groomer/Handler , and you would be in !
Im glad somebody caught my comment !

Marc, I wouldn't encourage Mike. He got lucky with Judy. If he starts doing all that chains, motors, and Grecian Formula stuff, she may come to her senses. Then where would he be? It's not easy to find a good woman with bad taste in men. I should know.

Marc, I definitely "caught your comment" when you first posted it. Many replies came to mind, however having spent considerable time in the Florida Keys where my brother-in-law has a vacation home, I'm well aware of the sights that you are referring to and I felt any comment I would make could be considered perilous to my continued existence on this planet.

Dont they say something like "just cause I picked my apple, I can still look at the orchard" up around Washington ? There it just happens to be plastic fruit !

Yeah, I know what you all mean! Last year when Sally said I could have a "trophy wife" if I wanted, and I said "Really :?: ".

She elaborated and said she'd shoot her and hang her head on the wall..............

Needless to say, I did not pursue the permission...
