My Jabsco wash down pump quit several weeks ago. I purchased it at WM. They said it was only warrantied if I had purchased the warranty which I did not. I noticed on the box that Jabsco furnished a 3 yr. warranty. I emailed them and explained the situation. They wanted my physical address.
Today the Fedex truck showed up with a brand new pump. I installed it and it works fine. They did not even want the old one back.
Good company.

Jabsco, Rule, Shurflo, and a couple of other brands of pumps are trademarks of ITT, International Telephone and Telegraph, I believe.

A quick search shows ITT owns 632 trademarks!

Joe. :teeth :thup

Good to hear that yet another company knows how to treat its customers!

Thank you for your post. I'm sure Jabsco would thank you too if they read C-Brats!

More on the pump installation............after mounting it and hooking up the wiring I wanted to test it but the boat is on the trailer and the intake is in the bottom of the hull. I put a new fitting on the intake with a piece of hose on it. Other end in a bucket of water. All went well. it worked fine.
But........I was looking at the short piece of hose laying in the bilge and it struck me that in an emergency, if the bilge pump grenaded, I could hook up the piece of hose and use my wash down pump as a bilge pump. So the piece of hose with fitting are stored right by the pump "just in case".
