Kicker mounted to swim platform?

Anyone install a kicker to the factory swim step? Boat has dual and I'd like to keep them both. What bracket did you use. There's one I am looking at that can mount to the deck of the swim step.

Our CD 19 came with 2 swim platforms, one with a ladder and the other with a kicker bracket mounted to it . It was a Sea Dog brand but I don't think they make them any more, but you can find similar units at All boat products or Adventure Marine listed under swim step motor mounts. Ours works good, but the height is not adjustable, so check your motor shaft length. You may have your prop dragging in the water when up or coming out of the water when running into waves when down. good luck.

Dessert First mounted one of these on the swim platform using green removable stainless pull pins. The job was very well done as the drilled holes were oversized and filled with epoxy and the pins had fender washers. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Garelick-Mou ... 1/32921438
