Dan sent them to me on time. Yesterday was beautiful. We put Wild Blue back in the water... the high for the day was 86º, sunny, nice breeze. Who can blame me? 8)

Here are the strips...

Hope you enjoy them; as always, your comments are welcomed and encouraged.

Dan had some concerns with this week's strips with this audience: nothing about the boat or Molly the cat (except her poop box). He is laying foundation for strips to come. Here we are several months into this project, and Captain Jim doesn't even have his boat, yet... um, maybe I shouldn't go there.

In visiting with Molly, she wanted me to let you know that she will be signing memorabilia at the upcoming Molly-Palooza Tour, coming soon to a city near you. She is sold out of the "Molly rules, Captain Jim drools" limited edition placemats, but still has some of the foam paws with the #1 finger that says, "Obama and Clinton WHO? Molly for Prez!" :cat The "Chubby Gray Cats Need Love, Too" t-shirts are available in S-M-L-XL ($3 extra for XXL and XXXL). Seems that everyone is working some angle on this strip except me.

So, what's with all the finger wagging? I don't recall that being a trait of the real Captain Jim????

And that's only part of it, Pat! What about the adoring looks the real Captain Jim gets from Joan and Molly? Remember, this is from the mind of our Son-in-law, Dan... different perspective, perhaps?

When we were in Phoenix, Joan said something potentially embarrassing, then turned to Dan and said, "I guess I have to be careful about what I say in front of you. This may wind up in a strip." And I said to her, "Now you know how Dixie feels."

We all know this is fiction... right?

Best wishes,
Jim
