Is there anyone in Seattle area who would show their boat?

Greetings,
My wife Chris and I are very interested in the C-Dory. (We now have a sailboat--an Alberg 30--which we keep in C-Dory land, Bellingham.) We're wondering if there are any owners in the Seattle (or Bellingham) area who would be willing to give a short show of their C-Dory, probably 22 or 25 ft. We have a few questions only--this wouldn't be a long visit necessarily. We're not in a huge rush about this.

The idea of acquiring a faster vessel which we'd keep in Bellingham is appealing in order to extend our cruising range.

Many Thanks,
Randy

Hi Randy, I saw your note:
"...The idea of acquiring a faster vessel which we'd keep in Bellingham is appealing in order to extend our cruising range."

How about extending it to the east coast, or Florida?; Lake Powell in the fall and BC coast in the summer?

How about 60 miles per hour and 10 miles per gallon???? OK, I think you are getting it. The C-Dory trailers.... very well, and economically. You can do it, no over size permit required, and you don't need a commercial hauler.

Besides, many of us (CBRATs) used to be sailors too, and we get it... where you are, and where you are coming from and where you are going  That Alberg 30 is a very nice looking sailboat.

And yes, I'd be happy to show you my boat BUT.... it is not for sale :D . I'm not in Seattle, but not that far away either. I live in Sequim, but will be launching sometime in the next week or so, and could come across the water and meet someplace if you want another look, a ride or you still need to see a C-Dory. (Mine is a 22 Cruiser set up for cruising.)

Best to contact through the site here; a PM is good.

Randy, we are in between both Seattle and Bellingham; Lake Stevens. Our 25 is on a trailer in the driveway. If that interests you, send me a PM. I work a lot of OT, but it's usually predictable.

Randy, we live in Birch Bay, and our CD25 is in our garage. BB is about 15 miles north of Bellingham, so if you want to come by when you are in B'ham, please feel free. I will PM your our cell phone numbers.

Randy - We're at Cornet Bay/Deception Pass with a 22' CD with a Honda 90. It's moored at the County dock and always ready to head out on an adventure. PM me if you want to pursue this.

I have a 22 Cruiser at Twin Bridges Marina (north end of Swinonmish Channel) that I'd be happy to show you and take you out for a quick ride in.
