I've tried to add photos with both my Apple (Fireweasel) and the Microsell machines, and get told that I am uploading an invalid image. Anyone else seeing these kind of things?

Steve

I also note that the Gallery resize is not coming up for the photos. On the Apple, I did just upgrade to the new version of Firefox

The following error is what is returned to me when trying to upload an image from iPicture....

Any thoughts????????????

The last time I tried uploading photos I had the same results as you. Ended up having to downsize the image through photobucket before being able to upload here. Think there is now a limit on the size of photo that can be uploaded. In the past the more detailed images would finally go through if only one or two were tried at a time.

Even though it said it was an invalid photo and no resizing was needed they went through after resizing.

Jay,

Thanks. I have not used photo bucket. Is it free ware on the net?

Steve

Jay, I just used Photobucket, and it works fine. I just hope that it will preserve some of the edit quality from Photoshop.

Thanks again for the tip!

I have a great little app called HP Photosmart Edit that came with the "free" (I know, nothing is really free) printer I got with my MacBook. The CD also had Windoze software on it. It loads quickly, is intuitive to use and is capable enough to do most of what I need to do with most photos. I use HP Photosmart Edit on EVERY pic that is not Gimp'ed or Photoshop'ed to crop, adjust brightness and saturation and resize. For Windoze, you can resize easily with a little freeware app called IrfanView. Don't know of a similar freeware app for the Mac, but of course Gimp can resize images. Only problem is it doesn't really load quickly. But you do want to resize your pix before trying to upload to C-Brats, however you do it...
