Is anyone using, or have a recommendation for an inexpensive webcam to use with an iPad or MacBook? That would sure come in handy when hooking up a trailer solo.

I work part time at the Mac Store in Portland.
This is not an advertisement for the store, just answering your question.
I'm sure if you go to the Mac Store in Salem or Eugene or Portland even Corvallis. One of the sales people will be able to help you out.
Once again I hope this does not offend anyone, this is not an advertisement.
Hope this helps.

Hi Steve,
Have you tried the yellow balls mounted on a telescoping stick? Find them at Harbor Freight, Walmart & other stores. One goes on top of the ball and one on top of the trailer's hitch. Just watch in the mirror and align the sticks/ balls. When the hitch passes over the ball it pushes the one on the ball off and you stop in just the right place. I was a sceptic and refused to try it for years. It usually took 3 or 4 "minor" adjustments to get lined up just right. Now, it's usually right the first time. I think I paid $10 bucks, but I've seen them for up to $20.

If you have a smart phone you may be able to turn that into a web cam for free. I have an app for my android phone that lets me turn it into a web cam. I haven't tried to use it yet as a backup camera but I plan to try it out this weekend. The app was free (IPWebcam).
