I am going to purchase a HydroHoist lift for a TomCat 255 with two Yamaha 150's. Is anyone using one of these for this particular boat. I am trying to decide between a 8800 capacity and a 10,000 capacity; Will the 8800 do the job?

Scott Mortensen is suggesting a fully equipped 225 weighs closer to 10,000 than 7000 . . .
Has anyone weighed one? I have some corner weight scales for a racecar but I'm not sure they go that high.
I've emailed Intercomp to see if they have the old manual.

Boat was 8380. I wouldn't use an 8000# lift. Mine is 10K.
