How far to your boating waters?

Well I learned a lesson this season if still working pick a closer location. Those of you that are really close to your boat that's great,we would be on it 4xs a week if we were close. But I see there are some others with long travels also. South of Heaven will check those locations. Been a busy season working ,when I get on computer im deleting 800 e-mails. Used to be on everyday. Finding myself buying more lottery tickets as im getting older hoping for the quick retirement.

Takes us about 7 minutes to get to the club where our boat is slipped, by bicycle. Couldn't imagine being any further away. Good luck finding a closer spot that's suitable, or winning the lottery.

We are on the water in Cinque Terre, Italy. We have transitioned off the boat, the C-Dory, but not the water. Cruising on the Med. Best to all- El and Bill

I step out of my back door in Mt Dora Fl and on to my Segway, my marina is 2 min away. I keep boat in a dry slip but leave boat in water up to a week at a time just enough to assure no growth. I operate on the Harris chain of lakes in central Fl which feed the Ocklawaha R the largest tributary of the St Johns R. Its to iffy to try to make it all the way to the St Johns because of tree blockage but I sure sleep on the river.
It's only a 45 min drive to launch on the St Johns which leads to the ICW outside Jacksonville, it takes two days at 20 mph. Last week I spent 8 days out and went to Jekyll Isld Ga. I really have it made not having to pay for water front but live close enough to not tell the difference. My dry storage is $100 a month and my St Johns launch is $10 and $5 a day locked storage, with my disability my boat is sheer magic. My 16 is a back pack with a 50 hp Honda
