Makes you long for the days when you could tell somebody you caught a 5 and 3/8th stone, 1/3rd rod halibut, when you were only a lad of 15 hands yourself.

What about us good Canadians? We buy gas by the liter, put it in an Imperial gallon can(4.54 liters) then pour it in our boat which has a tank measured in American gallons(3.78 liters). :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
 
I think the Canadians use metric just to make their fish sound bigger. 36 inch vs 90 cm.
