While on a flight this weekend, I read about a new operation in Seattle that has designed a built diesel powered "Hot tub boat". The plan is to rent them out to people to cruise around in Lake Union. The water is kept warm with a diesel heater and apparently you can steer and operate the boat while remaining submerged in the hot tub. I would love to have one of these to fish out of on cold rainy days.

Here's an image.

Oh, man, the one thing I miss about our house is the jacuzzi tub. I figure I'll have to hit the lottery in order to afford a boat that is big enough to have a hot tub (guess I'll have to buy a ticket). This hot tub boat could be the answer! :D Of course, it's really going to suck when you take it out in 3' chop and the waves hit you in the face! :disgust

Plan B: marry a really rich woman. That's going to be a problem, 'cause Joan still doesn't let me date.

Plan C: save a rich family from a sinking boat and have them give me a huge reward. Yeah, that's going to be a problem, too, 'cause I'm not going in this ridiculously cold water!

Plan D: OK, I don't really have a Plan D. But, a hot tub on a boat really does sound good.

Oh, yeah! Let's all drink a lot of Bud and wine and tool around Lake Union oblivious to everything except how good the hot tub and alcohol makes us feel!

Pat - According to company policy, there is no alcohol allowed on the rental boat. However, the picture seems to show something different.

Jim - from this photo, it looks like it has a fair amount of freeboard.

Oh, well that's entirely different. In the words of the philosopher Emily Litella: "Nevermind."

Do they really need to be insulted like that? It's Pabst and champagne, not Bud and wine. Jeez.

PBR? Oh, well, that is entirely different then!
