Not a c-dory but just told to me by a good friend. This happened last week. Family kept their 26 McGregor afloat somewhere (not Comox). They turned up at the boat for a two week holiday to find that someone had dismantled and stole the whole bottom end of their 50hp Honda while it sat in the water. They got the boat towed back to the ramp and on to their trailer and went off in search of repairs. Had to order parts in from Vancouver. After paying in excess of $2,000 they are now ready to start their holiday. Desolation Sound is the destination. They park their rig while they go grocery shopping. Come out the supermarket to find their truck has been t-boned while parked. Young girl driver to her credit did stay at the scene. Insurance particulars are exchanged, the truck is still drivable, and off go the family. Get a mile down the road and the trailer wheel totally collapses, axle and all. They are still trying to get to Desolation! And how was your day?

Hopefully, the bad things only happen in threes.....and the are done.

Desolation indeed! Maybe you want to skip a trip to Cape Disappointment.

I hope you got it all back on track and are able to enjoy the rest of the trip without anything but good stuff.
