Just wanted to thank everyone for the warm welcome we received at the Hontoon Island C-Dory gathering early in March. As new C-Dory owners, it was really nice to meet and talk to others in the group and see their boats and what they've done with them. Also to hear about the previous owners, Ken and Pat Frey, who obviously made many friends in the group. We are grateful for the wonderful care they took of the boat we now own, the Pelican. We shopped for a long time before finding the boat, which is in better shape and looks better than some we've seen for sale that are 10 years newer! Next year we plan to come back bring the Pelican with us. Right now we are busy trying to get familiar with the navigation system (Lowrance) that came with the boat so we can plan some cruises and avoid running into rocks, etc. in the skinny water surrounding our area (Crystal River, FL).
Hope all of the C-Brats are managing to stay well and not go crazy during the Coronavirus pandemic and quarantine.
