My 1997 Honda 90 tachometer has been giving me fits for several years. It swings around wildly and will return to normal (for awhile) if you tap on the glass.
Last week I called the local Honda dealer to find out price/availability on a new tach. ($49) He asked me if i reset it. Did not know what he was talking about. There is a small button on the back of it, I pushed it in and the tach. has worked perfectly ever since.
