Helm Shelf

Hello Again:
I now have a 16. And she has a wonderful C-Dory logo decal on her side. Would love a helm shelf above the windows. Has anyone put a shelf above the helm on a 16?
I would also like to know how the bigger girls attach their shelves I have seen they installed in the photo gallery. Through the roof, the sides?

On my CD22 the bolt for the top handrails hold the shelf up.

That makes sense. What about the bow edge? Did you support that by fastening from outside through the fiberglass?

On my 16 I installed a shelf and secured it with 5200. Theres a picture in my photo album in the modifications folder.[/img]
