After our enjoyable stay at the suites I noticed the charge to my credit card was $105. larger than it should have been. It did not match my receipt. I called the Hawthorn and they said sorry and they will adjust. They havn't yet but I'm sure they will. May want to check your charges. mbw

I think the rate was supposed to be $85 a night for the least size unit. That is what we were charged.
I really enjoy the stay at Hawthorne. The breakfast time and all that is available in the food arena plus the ability to sit, eat and enjoy the company of others is a big plus.

We had the studio suite. Cost was $85 per night with a room tax of $10.54. The total for two nights came to $191.08. I contacted the credit card company to confirm the charges. We're okay.

It was $85 a night for the studio suite. When we checked in on Thursday night, they had none left but we were told we could have a THouse for the same price. When we checked out on Sunday AM, we had been charged the bigger $, $98 and the girl working the desk didn't know how to change it. I gave her my e-mail and phone number and she said she'd have it fixed. On Thursday, hearing nothing, I called and got the manager, he said it would be taken care of. He called back an hour later and said it was fixed. I'll check the CC record!

We had a rough night Saturday night, had to call the office at 12:30AM, 2:00 and 2:30 because of noise upstairs. The desk said they'd take $20 of that night's bill. When we checked out I noticed that instead of deleting the $85 and adding a $65 charge they'd just added the $65 and kept the $85 on as well. When I pointed this out to the desk clerk she said she couldn't make the change herself but would tell the supervisor who wasn't coming in for another two hours. Later at home I got a call saying the total bill would be about $165 so it appears the charge was corrected but I'll be sure and check the CC bill.
