Have a good Thanksgiving

HAPPY BIRDDAY everyone..we went the prime rib route however. I pulled the cover off the boat and gave it a good cleaning. Weza going to hit the river for a tour this weekend

That tricycle thing looks like it would be a hoot.

Happy day after (here in Nelson, NV we are across the date line, or fault line, or something). We finally ran down the buzzard yesterday and broiled him up for Thanksgiving - a little tough, but things are kinda tough here in the desert.
We had four inches of snow here the other day, and a rattler died of a heart attack when he saw it -- ate him too, and mighty tasty at that.
Coyotes are getting cheeky -- came into town last night and ate all the turkey (and our buzzard) bones in the buckets outside. Noisy rascals, yipping and munching all night.

I must say, Thanksgiving in NOLA (New Orleans, LA) for the Daydream crew was fabulous...Turkey Day dinner at Dominique's in the French Quarter (what did I need that arm and leg for anyway...) was exquisite, and the Po Boys and cheap breakfasts at Johnny's on St. Louis Street were even better (and a HELL of a lot less money). Trip to Avery Island to the Tabasco plant, swamp tour, Cafe Du Mond, Jackson Square, French Market, $3 / dozen oysters on the half shell at the Seaport Restaurant happy hour on Bourbon Street, EXCELLENT brews at the Cresent City Brew Pub on Decatur Street, best of all, the whole family together...The best Thanksgiving for us in memory! Here's hoping you all had as good a time as we did!
