Most people today would prefer to deal with someone that they know something about or who has been referred to them by a mutual friend. As a C-Brat, I would not hesitate to deal with another C-brat having a desired business endeavor but in order to do so would need to first know about their business. If you would like for other C-Brats know what you do and where you are then please provide a brief description of your business service followed by an e-mail address and contact information, etc.

CaptMac, not a totally bad idea but you might consider taking out an ad that would run in the upper right hand corner of the website as many of the marinas have done along with some other folks. I would hate to see this site turned into one with posts about ones' business.

great thought, i would not hesitate to work with another c-brat for several reasons. first, we are like family and who wants to embarrass themselves in front of family and friends, second, we're a very small community, a deal that turns sour spreads quickly, and most importantly, i want to spend my money with those businesses i like. i want to see my friends succeed and if i can help that process, all the better.
my business is restricted to ohio and kentucky. not many c-brats located in those to states, so, no reason for me to advertise, although i am very happy offering advice to any c-brat regardless of where they live, free of charge!

There is a bit of guilt here talking about one's business - however, in the event that anyone were to need what we provide, we would supply these items for 10% over cost for C-brats and give 5% to the C-Brat web site as compensation for the advertising. We make a decent living in our main market place - which is national parks - and don't really need to make a profit off the C-Brats.
